Beyoncé celebrated last week’s landmark Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage a little bit later than her peers.
On Wednesday, the pop star posted a video to her Instagram page in which she dances jubilantly to her hit song “7/11” while changing into different rainbow-colored bikinis, capes, and jerseys:
“Never too late,” she wrote in the video caption. “#LoveWins.”
The video had garnered more than 600,000 “likes” and more than 30,000 comments two hours after it’s posting.
Beyoncé was a bit slower on the draw than other celebrities, who voiced their support for the Supreme Court decision shortly after it was handed down on Friday.
Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z have both previously been vocal in their support of gay marriage.
In 2013, Beyoncé posted a handwritten note to her Facebook page: “If you like it, you should be able to put a ring on it #wewillunite4marriageequality.”
In a 2012 interview with CNN following President Obama’s decision to publicly support same-sex marriage, Jay-Z said that the inability of gay couples to marry was “holding the country back.”
“What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business,” the rap mogul told CNN. “It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”
