An 18-year-old male has suffered “life-changing” injuries after being attacked with a knuckleduster and sprayed with a noxious substance and two males, including a 15-year-old boy, were stabbed over the weekend in London.
The 18-year-old was attacked by three men after he got off a bus in Greenwich, South East London, in the early hours of Saturday morning in what police described as an “unprovoked” assault, reports the Evening Standard.
The young man was making his way down Bexley Road after a night out when he was approached by three men. The teen tried to move out of their way, but they would not let him pass and harassed him verbally, swearing aggressively.
One of the men then pulled out a knuckleduster and began beating the victim in the face with it before a second sprayed a substance at him.
The youth suffered serious facial injuries including a fractured eye socket and a broken nose before he made his way to hospital. Tests are being carried out on the substance to determine what it was, according to police.

Detective Constable Dan Newbury of Greenwich Borough described it as “a truly vicious assault”.
“The victim was minding his own business on his way home when these three males have confronted him and left him with injuries that are possibly life-changing,” Det. Con. Newbury said.
In a separate incident Saturday, residents of Birch Road, Hanworth, in the West London Borough of Hounslow, came to the aid of a young man who had been “stabbed more than 10 times”, according to a neighbour.
Resident James English told GetWestLondon that children in the park had seen two men get out of a car and argue before one stabbed another repeatedly, “The one that had done the stabbing ran off and the car disappeared,” Mr English said.

The victim, unknown to the residents, was brought into a neighbour’s home by locals where they tried to stop the bleeding until the ambulance arrived, his legs and arms being described as “covered in blood”.
And on Sunday at around 7 pm, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Eltham, South London. The teen was taken to hospital and is in a critical but stable condition. Police enquiries are ongoing.
