Protesters took to the streets of Paris and other cities across France today, marching against proposed reforms to the country’s labour laws.
France’s Socialist government is proposing overhauling almost all aspects of the country’s employment laws, including working hours, pensions and annual leave in an attempt to liberalise the country’s labour market.
Working class labourers were joined on the streets by left wing students, who chanted slogans and donned fancy dress to join the anti-government protests.
