The Islamic State’s affiliate in Sinai has published pictures of what it claimed was an attack against an Egyptian army post last Friday.

The organization claimed that in the attack in Alsabil, near the city of Al Arish, 15 Egyptian soldiers were killed, while the Egyptian media said only 13 were killed.

IS also said that among its dead was Abu Baker Algazawi, a Gaza jihadi who was wanted by Hamas.

The information was probably released as part of a media war between IS and Hamas, where Sinai militants wish to highlight the inclusion of Gaza members to their ranks.
