Tea Party Terrorists?! Who Are the Real Terrorists Here?

The Democrats and other leftists have rapidly increased their demonization of the Tea Party and conservatives in general during the past few weeks. They have called for congressional investigations into “Christian militants” and “right-wing extremism”. They have continued their campaign to demonize as a “hate” any pro-family position. They had the audacity to label Allen West as the aggressor for responding to Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s attack on him. And they have tried once more to condemn the entire Right for the actions of someone completely unrelated to us who aborted dozens of people in Oslo, Norway.

Yet now that they have labeled us “terrorists” for wanting to save America from insurmountable debt it should be clear to everyone that they are irreconcilable and view us as evil enemies whom they want to destroy. We should reciprocate and forevermore view them as enemies of the state.

However, if labeling us as “terrorists” hasn’t made conservatives recognize what irreconcilable enemies leftists are, then what Sarah Palin said in response to their coordinated attack should:

. . . Yeah, right. Independent patriotic Americans who desire fiscal sanity in our beloved nation being called terrorists, heck, Sean, if we were real domestic terrorists, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us, wouldn’t he? I mean, he didn’t have a problem palling around with a Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers’ apartment and then, you know, shaking hands with [Venezuelan President Hugo] Chavez and saying, he doesn’t need any preconditions with meeting dictators or wanting to read U.S. Miranda rights to alleged suspected foreign terrorists. No, if we were all domestic terrorists, I think President Obama wouldn’t have a problem with us.

Think about the truth of Palin’s statement. Think of all the vile people the left regularly aligns with, defends, or treats as a group with legitimate complaints–Islamic terrorists, gang members, communists, dictators and thugs, pirates, illegal invaders and colonizers of America, etc.–and then consider how they have declared as their enemy a large size of law-abiding Americans who simply want some relief from their tyranny.

But I am just as tired as anyone else is of the whining coming from the Right about the left. I don’t want to hear further demands for apologies; instead I encourage the Right to fight back and never again seek reconciliation or compromise.

I intend to explain further over the next few weeks how dangerous the Democrats and other leftists have become, and why they are a national security threat that need to be investigated and prosecuted. However, for now, I want to end with this excerpt from Huckleberry Finn in which Huck considers informing on his friend Jim, a runaway slave who has been recaptured by a man seeking a reward from the slave owner. I include this excerpt because I hope that every conservative remembers it any time he considers giving any credence to the accusations coming from the Democrats and other leftists; every time he thinks that they are right in calling us evil:

. . . It was a close place. I took it up, and held it in my hand. I was a trembling, because I’d got to decide, forever, betwixt two things, and I knowed it. I studied a minute, sort of holding my breath, and then says to myself:

“All right, then, I’ll go to hell”- and tore it up.

It was awful thoughts, and awful words, but they was said. And I let them stay said; and never thought no more about reforming. I shoved the whole thing out of my head; and said I would take up wickedness again, which was in my line, being brung up to it, and the other warn’t. And for a starter, I would go to work and steal Jim out of slavery again; and if I could think up anything worse, I would do that, too; because as long as I was in, and in for good, I might as well go the whole hog. . . .
