Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, a deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said in a speech on Tuesday that his organization is stronger than ever after the U.S. government designated it a foreign terrorist organization.

“The uniform of the IRGC is the holiest uniform that we know throughout history because thousands of those who were among the best servants of God have been martyred in this uniform,” Fadavi said, according to Iran’s state-run Tasnim News Agency.

“For 40 years the IRGC has been protecting the revolution with this very outfit. The 40 years of grandeur and pride have been created thanks to the blood of the martyrs,” he said.

Fadavi boasted last week that American and European sailors are terrified of encountering the mighty IRGC navy and are cracking under the psychological stress of entering the “hell” of the Persian Gulf.

“They come under strong pressure in encounters with us. The number of American naval accidents has risen greatly, which results from the psychological pressure on them,” he claimed.

“Whenever they enter the Persian Gulf, they say among themselves that ‘we entered the hell’. Also, whenever they leave the Persian Gulf, they say ‘we got out of the hell.’ They are in tough mental and psychological conditions,” he said.

Another IRGC official, strategist Hassan Abbasi, predicted on Tuesday that American ideology will die within 15 years, after which “the global operating system will be an Islamic one.”

“The government of the elderly will be set aside and a young, revolutionary government will be in charge,” Abbasi said.

“Islamic Iran is now so strong that if anyone hits us, it would be impossible for them to escape and they must receive a response for their action,” he boasted.
