Ben Affleck, Matt Damon step out at ‘Animals’ premiere

Oct. 2 (UPI) — Longtime friends and collaborators Ben Affleck and Matt Damon stepped out on the red carpet Thursday.

Affleck, 54, attended the Los Angeles premiere of his film Animals alongside Damon, 55, and his wife, Luciana Damon, who both served as producers on the project.

Other cast members in attendance included Kerry Washington, Steven Yeun, Adriana Paz and Luis Gerardo Mendez.

Animals is a thriller co-written, directed by and starring Affleck as Mark Kimball, a Los Angeles mayoral candidate whose son is kidnapped at the height of his campaign.

Gillian Anderson also stars as Dayle, a mysterious fixer who advises Mark and his wife Abigail (Washington) during the crisis.

Netflix released a trailer for the movie in September.

Animals releases Oct. 9 in theaters and on the streaming service.
