Oct. 29 (UPI) — Godzilla Minus Zero director Takashi Yamazaki and cast members Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe stepped out on the red carpet Wednesday.
The trio attended the film’s Los Angeles premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Other guests included Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA and actors Terry Crews and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Godzilla Minus Zero is a sequel to the hit Japanese film Godzilla Minus One, released in 2023. Based on the Toho franchise, the movies imagine the iconic monster Godzilla in post-World War II Japan.
In Godzilla Minus Zero, former kamikaze pilot Koichi Shikishima (Kamiki) and his now-wife Noriko (Hamabe) face “an all-new calamity” in the form of a new kaiju, or monster.
The film had its world premiere at the New York Film Festival in September.
Godzilla Minus Zero opens in U.S. theaters Nov. 6.
