Julia Roberts selling historic Hawaii property for $30M

HANALEI, Hawaii, April 8 (UPI) — Julia Roberts is parting ways with her historic two-acre property on Kauai’s North Shore in Hanalei, Hawaii.

According to Pacific Business News, the 47-year-old actress, listed the seven bedrooms and four bathrooms home for $30 million. The 3,792-square-foot property has around 200 feet of beach frontage on Hanalei Bay.

The house was reportedly once owned by Garden Isle sugar plantation manager Hans Peter.

Roberts purchased the home “several years ago” for almost $14 million.

Actor Chuck Norris, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Oakley founder James Jannard are some of the celebrities who own properties on Kauai’s North Shore.

Roberts and her husband Danny Moder live between Malibu and their farm in Santa Fe, N.M., with their twins Phinnaeus and Hazel and their 6-year-old son Henry. The actress will next star in The Secret in Their Eyes in theaters on on Oct. 23.
