Oct. 27 (UPI) — Little Disasters is coming to Paramount+ in the United States on Dec. 11.

The series stars Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelly Conn and Emily Taafee as four women who bond over their new roles as mothers.

“When perfect stay-at-home mother Jess (Kruger) takes her baby daughter to the hospital with a head injury that she can’t explain, her close friend and on-duty ER doctor Liz (Joyner) must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services,” an official synopsis states. “With one phone call Liz sets in motion a chain of events that ripples, fractures and nearly destroys not only their families but their entire friendship group.”

A short teaser shows Jess and Liz arguing over Liz’s decision.

The six-part show takes its inspiration from Sarah Vaughan’s Anatomy of a Scandal novel.
