April 14 (UPI) — Phil Collins, Billy Idol and Iron Maiden are to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Also among the 2026 inductees are Oasis, Queen Latifah, Rick Rubin, Sade, Luther Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan, Ed Sullivan, Linda Creed, Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Joy Division/New Order, Jimmy Miller, Gram Parsons, Arif Mardin and MC Lyte.

To be considered for induction, an individual artist or band must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 earlier.

Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan are first-time nominees, while Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis and Sade have all been nominated before, but did not make the final cut in past years.

“Induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is music’s highest honor. We look forward to celebrating these remarkable artists at this year’s ceremony — it’s going to be an unforgettable night,” John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, said in a statement Monday.

The induction ceremony is to take place Nov. 14 in Los Angeles.

It will air on ABC and Disney+ in December.
