Nebraska Events to Honor Elderly Woman Allegedly Murdered by Illegal Immigrant

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), an anti-amnesty organization, will be holding a rally and vigil in Omaha, NE, for Louise Sollowin, the 93-year-old woman who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant.

Sergio Martinez-Perez, a 19-year-old illegal alien is on trial in Nebraska for allegedly murdering Sollowin on July 24th of this year. The rally and vigil will coincide with court proceedings in the case across the street.

“On September 13, Sergio Martinez-Perez, an illegal immigrant ‘DREAMer’ will face first-degree murder charges for the death of Louise Sollowin,” FAIR writes in the flyer promoting the event, as provided to Breitbart News. “The Vigil for American Justice will be held across the street from the pre-trial hearing.”

Reps. Steve King (R-IA) and Tom Latham (R-IA) will speak at the rally, as will Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert and Sollowin’s grandson Bill Hartzell. Susan Tully, the national field director for FAIR and the event’s organizer will also be speaking among a host of local and state lawmakers and media and political figures. The Line-up will include Maria Espinoza, the founder of the Remembrance Project an organization aimed at providing voices to the victims of illegal alien crimes that result in deaths of Americans.

FAIR’s Tully, the event organizer, told Breitbart News the group hopes to “highlight Martinez-Perez as the poster child of both the DREAM Act and amnesty.”

The rally will take placefrom 1 to 3 p.m. local time in Omaha, NE, at the Hall of Justice at 1701 Farnam St. on Friday.
