President Donald Trump again trashed the media on Tuesday, after the report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller vindicated claims that he did not collude with Russia in the 2016 election.

“The Mainstream Media is under fire and being scorned all over the World as being corrupt and FAKE,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “For two years they pushed the Russian Collusion Delusion when they always knew there was No Collusion.”

Major publication heads and cable news moguls defended their coverage of the Mueller investigation, despite getting the arc of the story woefully wrong.

Trump returned to his familiar attacks on the media, including describing them as “the enemy of the people,” the phrase that upsets establishment journalists the most.

“They truly are the Enemy of the People and the Real Opposition Party!” he wrote.
