Two pollsters looked at two crucial states and delivered only good news for Republican frontrunner Donald Trump. The GOP Establishment’s stated goal is to stop Trump from winning the number of delegates necessary to outright claim the Republican presidential nomination.

John Kasich: ‘I’m Pro-Pope’

Gov. John Kasich said Thursday night that he is “pro-Pope,” when he was asked during a CNN Townhall in South Carolina about Pope Francis’ comments about Donald Trump.

Kasich Channels McConnell on Planned Parenthood: GOP Doesn’t Need Unpopular Government Shutdown

Echoing McConnell’s words, the Ohio Governor said in New Hampshire Saturday and then argued on Fox News Sunday, that President Obama would veto any spending bill that transfers funds from Planned Parenthood to women’s healthcare facilities that do not perform abortions. Kasich warns that could make Republicans vulnerable if the government subsequently shuts down.

Lawmaker: ‘More Work to Do’ to Defund Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin

Though Gov. Scott Walker redirected approximately $1 million of prior Wisconsin funding that went primarily to Planned Parenthood in his state to other public women’s health centers that do not provide abortions, a state lawmaker says there is “more work to do” and is seeking to completely defund the organization in the state.

Kasich May Announce for President After June 30th

Reports indicate Republican Ohio Gov. John Kasich is “moving rapidly to assemble the staff and financial resources” required to run for the GOP presidential nomination, and he plans on announcing for same sometime after June 30th.
