Jerry Brown’s modest demand to decrease their expected pension investment returns by a tiny 0.2% year, because the impact would have increased pension contribution costs by about $1.2 billion across nearly 800,000 employees–about $125 per month, on average.

Obama Administration Strips Kansas of Federal ‘Family Planning’ Funding

Kansas loses approximately $370,000 annually in federal Title X “family planning” funding that the Planned Parenthood affiliates in Wichita and Hays – and another unaffiliated facility in Dodge City – had been receiving. The Obama administration acted after Kansas passed a bill that directed Title X “family planning” funds to public health departments and hospitals, shifting it away from Planned Parenthood.

6 ISIS-Related Arrests in San Diego, Minneapolis Over Alleged Terror Plot

Six males arrested in a Sunday FBI anti-terrorism raid face charges of trying to leave the United States from Minneapolis, Minnesota and San Diego, California to join the Islamic fundamentalist terror group ISIS overseas. One member of the group intent on joining the terrorist organization defected and became an informant for the FBI, providing the necessary intelligence to make the arrests.
