Bobby Jindal: Scott Walker Too ‘Intimidated’ To Debate Healthcare Plan

Bobby Jindal says his 2016 presidential campaign rival Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker might be too “intimidated” to defend his healthcare plan against Jindal’s criticisms on the same stage. Jindal using the word “intimidated” to describe Walker is meant to cut into Walker’s campaign messaging, where he frequently argues his battles with labor unions in Wisconsin prove he is “unintimidated” as a leader.

Marco Rubio Proposes Refundable Tax Credits to Replace ObamaCare

What Rubio outlines in his new op-ed is an ObamaCare repeal program quite similar to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s new plan. (Or, since Rubio’s repeating six-month-old talking points, perhaps you could say Walker is following in Rubio’s footsteps. One suspects the gentlemen from Wisconsin and Florida will discuss the matter at their earliest debate opportunity.)

Hillary’s College Plan: Bribe Kids to Vote Dem

The Wall Street Journal calls Clinton’s plan an “attempt to address a source of anxiety for American families while advancing one of the left’s most sweeping new ideas.” It’s no surprise the Left did everything it could to heighten that anxiety before terrorizing people into a “solution” that would spread its sweeping ideas. The WSJ dryly notes that information about Hillary’s plan “will be a key element of campaigning on college campuses this fall.” I’ll just bet it will.

Ted Cruz Hits McConnell Again On Rush’s Radio Show: ‘The Washington Cartel Is Coming After Me Hard’

“At the end of the day, it is about power and money in Washington and the people getting left behind are working men and women,” Cruz said. “Now I will say one thing that’s very encouraging, which is even though the Washington Cartel is coming after me hard—the lobbyists are backing other candidates in this presidential race—out of 16 candidates for the Republican nomination, do you know which candidate raised the most money out of all 16?”

“What we need to be emphasizing … especially in the black community … we need to teach people to turn their dollars over on their own community,” Carson suggested. “Churches are places of great potential healing and insight in our society … there is such a thing as God’s word,” he said explaining he believes the church can teach America what is right and what is wrong.

UCLA Health Data Unencrypted–and No Policy to Report Lost Laptops

It is not surprising that hackers broke into the UCLA’s health system to try to gain access to some of the 4.5 million patients’ records, given the sheer scale of personal health data that has been compromised. But what is shocking is that those records were never protected with a basic encryption, and lost laptops were not required to be reported. Although UCLA said there was no evidence at this time that any patient files were taken, the investigation is ongoing.

Hillary Clinton Blames GOP for Everything in Economic Speech

What she didn’t say: Many Americans have dropped out of the labor force during the Obama presidency, and even those still working have seen wages stagnate or their full-time jobs turn into part-time. Even Clinton’s Democratic competitor, Bernie Sanders, has recognized that the “true” unemployment rate is far higher than the figures pushed by the Obama administration, due to those who have given up looking for work.

Ouch! Massive Obamacare Premium Increases Will Dominate 2016

Oregon Commissioner of Insurance Laura N. Cali has approved premium rate increases of 25 percent for the Moda Health Plan and 33 percent for LifeWise in 2016. Due to Obamacare’s radical plan design and high utilization costs, skyrocketing American healthcare costs are becoming the norm–and will be a top issue in 2016 elections.
