Who Will Be the Next Victim of the Big Gay Hate Machine?

Perhaps just two or three decades ago, gay and lesbian individuals and their support groups expressed a desire for others to accept them for who they were. Most of them likely struggled with their sexual identity, and ultimately, they wanted to know that the important people in their lives loved them and cared for them no matter what. Acceptance was the goal for gays and lesbians back then. My, how things have changed.

Religious groups such as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) are the target of an imminent ACLU lawsuit that hopes to order the federal government to release information about how the groups are awarded government funding contracts to assist illegal unaccompanied minors, yet refuse to allow the minors access to contraception and abortion.

Mike Pence’s Indiana Religious Freedom Bill an Issue in 2016?

With Indiana Gov. and potential 2016 GOP presidential contender Mike Pence signing “a controversial state Senate bill that simply states the government can’t interfere with people and businesses exercising their religious beliefs,” the media is now ripe with speculation that the issue may be in play in the presidential politics of 2016.

Villalba Abandons ‘Religious Liberty’ Fight, Krause Picks Up His Slack

Texas State House Representative Matt Krause (R-Fort Worth) is going forward with a Religious Freedoms measure apparently abandoned by Rep. Jason Villalba (R-Dallas). Krause’s bill proposes a constitutional amendment which would bar counties, cities, and homeowners associations from interfering “in any way a person’s free exercise of religion.” The amendment is intended to address ordinances passed in Houston, San Antonio, and Plano that target business owners who exercise their religious beliefs about sexual orientation.
