The EU may be a federation without borders but Hungary begs to differ. Fed up with an invasion of asylum seekers entering the country from neighbouring Serbia, Hungary has acted to stem the flow by building a fence to secure its frontier
This Wednesday, Hungary was the subject of criticism from European officials after the nation announced plans to construct a 110-mile long, 4-meter high fence along their border with Serbia in an attempt to stem the flow of migrants streaming into the country.
On Monday, the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) claimed they kidnapped 20 foreign doctors and nurses in Sirte, Libya. Arab media reported the majority of the kidnapped came from the Philippines, while others were from Ukraine, Serbia, and India. However, reports from the respective countries contradict the terrorist group.
Bosnia-Herzegovina police raided a popular local newspaper that allegedly had a recording with incriminating language from a politician who heads the left-wing Social Democrats party.
