Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey claimed Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is the most exciting user on the social network during an interview, Tuesday.

After Recode co-founder Kara Swisher asked Dorsey who he thought the “most exciting influential on Twitter right now” is, Dorsey replied, “I like how @elonmusk uses Twitter. He’s focused on solving existential problems and sharing his thinking openly. I respect that a lot, and all the ups and downs that come with it.”

Musk replied to Dorsey’s compliment with, “Thanks Jack, Twitter rocks!”

Dorsey’s claim that Musk is the most “exciting” Twitter account at the moment prompted criticism because of the SpaceX CEO’s several controversial posts on the platform.

In July, Musk called British hero diver Vern Unsworth “pedo guy” on Twitter after he criticized Musk’s “PR stunt” offer to send a submarine to rescue school children who were trapped in an underwater cave in Thailand.

Unsworth filed a lawsuit against Musk in response.

Musk has also reportedly used his Twitter account to “attack” critical journalists, and last year, Musk had to settle with the SEC after he made his infamous “funding secured” post on Twitter falsely claiming to have secured funding to take Tesla private.

During his interview with Swisher, Tuesday, Dorsey also praised Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Twitter skills, claiming, “She’s mastering the medium.”

After being asked about what Twitter is doing to keep users safe, Dorsey boasted about the social network’s recent “Misgendering policy,” which forbids users from referring to transgender people with the ‘wrong’ pronouns.

Meghan Murphy, the founder of radical feminist blog Feminist Current, was permanently suspended from Twitter in November after she stated that “Women aren’t men.”
