Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon said the rampant crony capitalism in Washington, D.C. that enriches the permanent political class is why no party of truly limited government stands on the side of taxpaying Americans.

Bannon, along with Peter Schweizer, the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), appeared in a blockbuster one-hour special called "Boomtown" on Fox News' "Hannity" Friday. 

Bannon declared Washington has a "party of big government" and a "junior partner of the party of little big government" because the permanent political class on both sides of the aisle have a direct incentive to expand the size and scope of government to enrich themselves.

"This is why we want to turn the camera on something that has never been exposed," Bannon said, noting those in the permanent political class do their best to try to hide how they make their riches.
