One would think a handsome, successful television star wouldn’t be susceptible to a “catfish” style online romance.
Tell that to Criminal Minds star Thomas Gibson, who found himself in that very situation recently.
The 51-year-old actor was reportedly the victim of a catfisher who introduced herself on Twitter and posed as a porn star to entice him into a two-year online relationship.
Gibson, who portrays an FBI criminal behavior analyst on Criminal Minds, even sent the woman an embarrassing video recorded in a hot tub.
The actor is estranged from his wife. The couple has three children.
