CNN Goes Full-MSNBC With Romney Attack

CNN Goes Full-MSNBC With Romney Attack

First, you have to watch this:

No, you’re not watching MSNBC or Current TV.

That’s CNN’s Erin Burnett going off on presumptive nominee Mitt Romney and perfectly parroting the Obama campaign’s current talking points.  This is The Most Trusted Name In News. This is the network that sits proudly in third place and believes it’s in third place because it’s just too darn objective and middle-of-the-road.

And look at the only three reasons Burnett gives for why Romney is releasing two years more tax returns than he’s legally required to instead of  however damn many years the Chicago campaign machine demands he release: Romney’s either (her words) “stupid,” “shady,” or “took advantage of every loophole known to man.”

CNN doesn’t even tell its viewers that Romney isn’t required to release any of his tax returns. CNN doesn’t even float the fourth and most likely reason for Romney choosing not to hand over thousands of pages of oppo-research to his enemies in the media and Obama — that maybe, just maybe, the Obama team has proven itself so dishonest during this campaign that handing a four-foot high stack of documents to desperate class warfare demagogues is nothing short of suicide.

Again, this is THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS perfectly parroting Obama’s talking points and lying through omission.

Has Erin Burnett or CNN demanded Obama disclose the Fast and Furious documents now being protected by executive privilege? Because there’s only two reasons not to: Obama’s hiding something or Obama knows he can count on his Media Palace Guards  to ignore a potentially damaging story.

Has Erin Burnett or CNN demanded Obama release the still-undisclosed names of the thousands of donors who reportedly gave upwards of a couple hundred million dollars to his campaign in 2008? Because there’s only two reasons not to: Obama received illegal foreign donations or Obama knows he can count on his Media Palace Guards to ignore a potentially damaging story.

Has Erin Burnett or CNN demanded Obama release all the documents surrounding the billions in tax dollars that went to his political contributors through the stimulus and government grants? Because there’s only two reasons not to: Obama’s paying off his cronies or Obama knows he can count on his Media Palace Guards to ignore a potentially damaging story.

Has Erin Burnett or CNN demanded Obama stop hiding the White House guest book in plain sight? Because there are only two reasons not to…

When CNN does something like what Burnett did last night, it not only exposes for the 13,487th time that the failing network’s pose as objective is nothing more than a ruse, but it also tells us what CNN’s priorities are — and it’s most certainly not hundreds of dead Mexican innocents and two law enforcement officers — it’s not rooting out crony capitalism or revealing who really funded Obama’s 2008 campaign.

When CNN or Erin Burnett or anyone in the media talks about a desire for transparency it’s a big fat stinkin’ lie. The only transparency they want is the kind that won’t damage Obama but will give his campaign enough oppo-research to distract from the economy all the way through to November.
