NFL Commissioner: Power Outage Not Beyonce's Fault

After reports indicated Beyonce’s halftime show may have contributed to or caused the Super Bowl blackout, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said on Monday that Beyonce was not to blame.

“There’s no indication at all that this was caused by the halftime show,” Goodell said. “I know that’s been out there. That is not the case on anything we have at this point,” 

Shortly after Beyonce’s halftime show, the Super Bowl was delayed for 34 minutes when the lights literally went out in the Superdome. 

Baltimore defeated San Francisco 34-31 in the game after San Francisco rallied furiously after play resumed.
