Sunday the families of slain actress Reeva Steenkamp and double double amputee Oscar Pistorius continued to take center stage Sunday when it was revealed that Carl Pistorius (pictured leaving his home) is facing charges for killing another woman. Carl, Oscar’s brother, is facing a charge for ‘culpable homicide.”
The new report of a death blamed on a Pistorius family member pertains to an indent that occurred in 2008 in which Carl is charged with negligent killing for the death of a motorcyclist. The Pistorius family lawyer Kenneth Oldwage said the charge would be challenged in court.
Saturday the Steenkamp reacted to Carl being freed on bond. They did not assert an opinion on Pistorius guilt or innocence, but did make comments regarding late flowers that were sent from the Pistorius family, questioned why Carl would not have at least nudged Reeva to warn her of his fear and intruder was in the bathroom before firing shots into it, and said that Oscar would have to live with his conscience if he way lying.
Television viewers saw Reeva, almost a week after she was shot to death by Oscar on Valentine’s Day, when the show “Tropika Island of Treasure 5” was aired Saturday.
