Game Change: The Obamacare Tax

We now know categorically that Obamacare was a tax after all. President Obama misled the American people and now we have an enormous tax increase on our hands. According to the House Ways and Means Committee, there will be 21 tax increases because of the Obamacare Tax, costing more than $675 billion over the next ten years. In simple terms, the American people were duped by President Obama. Whether you are rich or poor, white or black, male or female, Democrat or Republican, your taxes are going up. 30 Jun 2012

Blaming Citizens United for Obama's Problems

There have now been at least 12 resolutions in this Congress calling to amend the U.S. Constitution, limiting free speech in the process. The latest, by Congressman Adam Schiff, will go nowhere -- like the others -- because it guts the First Amendment. Democrats’ continued attempts to chill free speech are simply a ploy to protect President Obama and other incumbents. As President Obama’s poll numbers continue to fall, the Left’s infatuation with the Citizens United decision continues to become only more crazed. 21 Jun 2012

'Occupy Unmasked' Screened at RightOnline

Last night at the RightOnline conference in Las Vegas, Occupy Unmasked had an advance screening in front of an audience that included many friends of late conservative icon Andrew Breitbart. 16 Jun 2012

Go Forward -- In the Right Direction

Jesse Kelly is a true outsider who would come to Washington to shake up the failed establishment. He understands and supports the economic principles that promote optimism and growth. Similarly, Kelly knows that Obamacare is hurting small businesses in both Tucson and the country as a whole. 9 Jun 2012

Ted Cruz Gives Texas Conservatives Chance to Change Washington

On the heels of the conservative movement’s success in Indiana with a critically important primary victory for Richard Mourdock over RINO U.S. Senator Dick Lugar, our focus must now shift to Texas and the U.S. Senate run-off between Ted Cruz and David Dewhurst. This race is billed as another seminal election for the conservative movement – and it should be. On July 31st, Texans will have a clear choice between a dynamic conservative change agent and a status quo moderate. 2 Jun 2012

Sergeant Dennis Weichel: A Hero Among Heroes

In March of this year, Sergeant Weichel was part of a convoy in eastern Afghanistan which stopped because children were in the road picking up spent shell casings. Shell casing is a commodity that can be sold at market in Afghanistan. As Sergeant Weichel and his comrades successfully cleared the road of the children, a young Afghan girl again went back into the road, unaware that a U.S. Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle (MRAP) was heading straight towards her. Noticing that the MRAP was about to hit the girl, Sergeant Weichel sprang into action and threw the Afghan girl out of the vehicle's way. Tragically, Sergeant Weichel was hit by the vehicle and later died of the wounds he had suffered. 25 May 2012

Obama's Atrocities

When President Obama made the declaration last week that his stance on same-sex marriage had "evolved" into supporting it, the New York Times called me up to see what the conservative movement thought about Obama’s evolution. I said to the reporter, “Add it to the list of atrocities.” 19 May 2012

Richard Lugar: The Fall of a RINO

The conservative movement had a great victory this week when Indiana Senator Dick Lugar lost to State Treasurer Richard Mourdock in the Republican Primary by a staggering twenty percent. Many in the liberal media are crying crocodile tears about Dick Lugar’s loss, calling him a “statesman” and an “institution” in the United States Senate. The fact is, Dick Lugar failed to earn his party’s nomination because he had completely lost touch with his party and fellow Hoosiers. 12 May 2012

The Movement: Occupy Unmasked -- Again

Occupy Wall Street was at it again this week trying to make themselves relevant with protests, strikes, and occupations timed to coincide with May 1st, also known as May Day and International Workers Day. May Day was marked by the former Soviet Union with a giant military parade. It is no surprise that the radical Leftist movement would choose this day, considering they are paid for, manipulated, and encouraged by Big Labor. 5 May 2012

The Movement: The Left's War on the First Amendment

During this Congress, there have been at least 11 resolutions filed by Democrat lawmakers calling to amend the Constitution because of the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v. The Federal Election Commission. All of these amendments will chill free speech and would make the Founders cringe. As President of Citizens United, I find it quite disappointing how none of these lawmakers have a clue what the United States Supreme Court actually decided in Citizens United. 28 Apr 2012
