Lyle Mitchell arrived at King’s Wok Buffet in Malone, New York at 4:15 p.m. on June 5, 2015 with his wife Joyce Mitchell, the 51-year-old civilian employee of the Clinton Correctional Facility, who pled guilty last week to aiding the escape of convicted killers David Sweat and Richard Matt.
At issue is whether Jeb Bush was aware of the initiative and if he exercised his fiduciary responsibility as one of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ directors to provide “advice and oversight” to the foundation’s management team prior to the decision to spend $50 million on the program.
The confluence of a Supreme Court that decides it has the power to legislate, a pro-active politicized bureaucracy at HUD that is betting the court will help it end-run Congress, and a Congress that allows itself to be manipulated by allowing its own independent agency to usurp its legislative function confirms that the federal government in its entirety has now merely become yet another arm of the Democratic Party.
Citizens United: Federal Judge’s Denial of Preliminary Injunction ‘First Step in Lengthy Process’ To Protect Privacy of Members
The comment came in response to a federal judge’s decision denying the conservative group’s request for a preliminary injunction to “enjoin the New York Attorney General from enforcing his policy of requiring registered charities to disclose the names, addresses, and total contributions of their major donors in order to solicit funds in the state.”

Kasich, who barely cracks 2 percent in most national polls of Republican primary voters, becomes the sixteenth Republican to join the race for the GOP nomination. While most pundits give him little chance of winning the nomination, Kasich made two things clear in his announcement—he doesn’t care that few political experts give him much of a chance to win, and he intends to have fun along the way.
Mohammad Fazili is the leader of the Islamic Center of Williamson County. It’s located in a strip mall on Carothers Parkway in Brentwood, next door to an Armed Forces Career Center that features a “WARNING: Weapons Prohibited” sign on its door. Fazili tells the local Nashville, Fox News affiliate that Abdulazeez had participated in afternoon prayers there but “after the first two, three days of Ramadan he disappeared.”
Abdulazeez was born in Kuwait, and graduated from Red Bank High School in the Chattanooga area. In 2012 he graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in electrical engineering. According to an online resume, he worked as an intern at the Tennessee Valley Authority, Mohawk Industries, and Global Trade Express before landing his job at Superior Essex.

On Tuesday, Breitbart News broke the story that “[a]n undercover video shot last summer by a new pro-life organization called Center for Medical Progress purports to show the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood of America talking on camera about how to abort a child intact so the child’s body parts can be transferred for medical and scientific research.”
“A careful review of the 100-plus pages is in order to fully understand the lengths to which the negotiators were willing to stoop to secure a deal at any cost with the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism and a regime dedicated in word and deed to bringing Death to America,” Dr. Ben Carson’s statement reads.
The Times attempted to portray Walker as so dumb he requires constant instruction by people who are, unlike him, really smart. “[A] series of early gaffes alarmed party leaders and donors and led Mr. Walker to begin several months of policy tutorials,” Times reporter Patrick Healy wrote.
On Tuesday, Politico ran an article with this blaring headline: “Ben Carson’s Godly Riches: He reaped $2 million in fees from Christian groups in 2014 alone. Now he wants their votes.” The headline, which implies some sort of hypocrisy on Dr.
Cruz Campaign Demands Apology from NY Times For Blocking Presidential Contender from Best-Seller List
In a press statement released on Friday, the Cruz campaign noted that “this week’s #1 and #2 books on Bookscan are also #1 and #2 on the NYT list. But the #3 book, Cruz’s A Time for Truth, has been omitted altogether from the top twenty spots on the New York Times list.”
When the smiling ophthalmologist, accompanied by his wife and daughter, walked free, it was the first time he has been out of jail since his arrest April 14 on federal charges of Medicare fraud. Federal prosecutors claim Melgen cheated taxpayers out of $105 million in Medicare reimbursements he received between 2007 and 2014. He faces unrelated charges alongside Sen. Robert Menendez in New Jersey.
The “dirty dozen” liberal blue states are headed towards the sort of fiscal insolvency now unraveling the country of Greece, and their fiscal recklessness may well drag down the entire federal government as well. All the more reason for the rest of us in the “Great 38 States” to consider convening an Assembly of the States so that fiscally responsible states can assert their sovereign rights guaranteed by the 10th amendment.
The proposed Assembly of the States can begin any time a single state legislature decides to act as host. A May 2016 start date is entirely reasonable, as most of the 50 state legislatures will convene in January 2016, which gives plenty of time for them to act, if they are so inclined. And the recommendations from the Assembly of the States could be put into effect immediately by the states.
We are, after all, the United States of America, not the United Federal Government of America. The Assembly of the States would convene irrespective of the number of state legislatures that choose to send a delegation. Should all 50 states choose to send a delegation, a total of 250 delegates would be present. Should just the host state’s delegates attend, a total of only 5 delegates will be present.
One hundred and fifty years after the end of the Civil War, it is becoming increasingly clear that there are two Americas—one where the principles of constitutionally limited government and individual liberty are still revered, the other where statism and the trampling of individual rights are on the rise. Widespread resistance at the state level, however, will require two elements: strong governors and strong state legislatures willing to vigorously assert their 10th amendment rights.
Grassley sent a letter to Attorney General Loretta Lynch, asking her to answer several questions about the deal that was approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) an interagency panel on which representatives of the Department of Treasury, the Department of State, the Department of Justice and six other cabinet departments or agencies sit.
