An armed protester at “Clock Boy” Ahmed’s mosque in Irving, Texas, told a Houston-based radio station that his December 12th armed protest is planned for a mosque that he says has been connected to terrorism.

David Wright III told KTRH AM740 in Houston that a Richardson, Texas, mosque has funded terrorist groups.

He said of the mosque, the Islamic Association of North Texas, “Back in 2005, there was an investigation into that mosque and the Holy Land Foundation which was tied to that mosque, and they found they had funded terrorist groups.”

The Holy Land Foundation was one of the largest Islamic charities in the United States. Its headquarters was in Richardson, Texas.

The foundation was designated as a terrorist organization by the federal government in 2001. The organization was shut down and its assets were seized because the charity’s primary purpose was found to fund Hamas. Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, Wright is a member of the group, the Bureau of American-Islamic Relations (BAIR) and the group is planning an armed protest at the Richardson mosque on December 12.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, nearly 100 demonstrators rallied in front of the Islamic Center in Irving, Texas last weekend. They were there to counter-protest Wright’s group who protested armed yet peacefully in front of the mosque the week before.

Wright is the Texan who published the names and addresses of Muslims and supporters who spoke at a March 19 city council meeting in Irving, Texas, as reported by Breitbart Texas. The City of Irving and the area has been ground zero for Islamic protests in Texas.

“Clock Boy” Ahmed Mohamed was arrested after he brought a clock that looked like a bomb to an Irving ISD school. Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne received multiple disturbing, sexually violent threats. She remains a controversial figure over the decision made by the Irving ISD and the Irving Police Department to detain Mohamed, as reported by Breitbart Texas.

Thirty minutes down the road from Irving is Garland, Texas. Two Islamic terrorists were killed by a police officer in May after storming the parking lot of the site of a Mohamed Drawing contest, as reported by Breitbart Texas. The Arizona-based terrorists arrived at the parking lot armed with AK-47s and grenades. A security officer was shot in the ankle but no one else was harmed.

Wright told KTRH AM740 radio, “They build these huge multi-million dollar mosque complexes, then they buy up 90 percent of the homes in the area,” he says.  “In Richardson, they’ve renamed the residential streets to reflect Islamic culture.”

He said of the December 12 planned armed protest, “My options are to stay home out of fear, show up there and protest the mosque unarmed like a sitting duck, or we can show up their armed just to defend ourselves and get our message out.”
