Hillary Clinton To Planned Parenthood: ‘I Will Always Have Your Back’

Hillary Clinton, who chose to be with her “Planned Parenthood family” in her first address since clinching the Democrat Party’s nomination for president, vowed to the abortion business, “I will always have your back.”

Clinton, who is endorsed by Planned Parenthood and much of the abortion industry, echoed the words of support offered by President Barack Obama in 2013 when he became the first president to address Planned Parenthood: ““You’ve also got a president who is going to be right there with you, fighting every step of the way…God bless you.”

In her introductory remarks, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards said that “for 100 years” her abortion business “has allowed people to live out their dreams.”

Clinton followed suit with her statement: “I know that for a century Planned Parenthood has worked to make sure that women, men, young people who count on you can lead their best lives healthy, safe and free to follow their dreams.”

“[B]eing able to plan their families not only saved women’s lives, it also transformed them because it meant that women were able to get education, build careers, enter new fields and rise as far as their talent and hard work would take them,” Clinton said, adding that Republicans are now working to reverse the progress women have made.

“We are not going to let Donald Trump or anyone else turn back the clock, and that means we’ve got to get to work because as you know better than anyone, right now across the country, rights that women should be able to take for granted are under attack,” Clinton said, attacking Texas’ law that is before the Supreme Court and requires abortion facilities to have the same health and safety standards as other outpatient surgery centers in the state.

She added that if abortion safety standards are permitted to stand, “5.4 million women of reproductive age will be left with about 10 health centers that provide abortion.”

Clinton also praised Texas abortionist Amna Dermish who admitted to undercover journalists at Center for Medical Progress that she alters the position of babies during abortion in order to harvest the most intact organs. “My aim is usually to get the specimens out pretty intact,” explained Dermish to the undercover investigators, admitting that she will sometimes use ultrasound to manipulate a second-trimester fetus to a feet-first breech presentation. “Especially the 20-weekers are a lot harder versus the 18-weekers, so at that point I’ll switch to breech,” she stated.

Repeating the same arguments that for decades liberal abortion supporters have waged against the pro-life community, Clinton said:

Have you ever noticed that the same politicians who are against sex education, birth control, and safe and legal abortion, are also against policies that would make it easier to raise a child – like paid family leave?

They are for limited government everywhere except when it comes to interfering with women’s choices and rights.

Clinton urged abortion supporters to help her “strengthen and improve the Affordable Care Act” and to help stop the spread of the Zika, a virus that has been linked to birth defects and which the abortion lobby is using to encourage countries that prohibit abortion to change their policies.

Clinton also urged taxpayer funding of abortion on demand with her statement, “Let’s repeal laws like the Hyde Amendment that make it nearly impossible for low-income women, disproportionately women of color” to obtain abortions.

“Defending women’s health means defending access to abortion,” Clinton said, “not just in theory, but in reality.”

Clinton said the issues of gun control, raising the minimum wage, giving illegal immigrants citizenship, and abortion rights are “connected.”

“And that’s why I’m grateful to the reproductive justice leaders in this room and across America,” she said. “Because you know that all those issues go straight to that fundamental question: whether we believe women and families of all races and backgrounds and income levels deserve an equal shot in life.”
