Amid a string of headline-making rants, in which he praised President-elect Donald Trump and bashed Beyoncé, Kanye West is reportedly suffering a nervous breakdown.

The New York Post reports that the Grammy-winning rapper’s closest friends say he’s surrounded by a bevy of yes-men who are contributing to his alleged slide into hysteria.

“There are fears he is having a nervous breakdown. He’s surrounded by all these crazy people, but there’s nobody he listens to or who can rein him in,” one friend said according to the Post. “He’s a mad genius, and he’s spiraling further and further out of control. Basically everything crazy he does is ‘art,’ so he is becoming more and more unpredictable.”

The last 48 hours have been chaotic, even by West’s standards.

He cancelled the remaining 21 concert dates on his Saint Pablo tour on Monday, after the abrupt cancellation of his show in Los Angeles Sunday night.

On Saturday, West launched into monologue at a concert in Sacramento, during which he criticized Beyoncé for refusing to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards and compared himself to President-elect Donald Trump.

Another source told the Post that West’s frantic and fast-paced lifestyle have left him “exhausted.”

“He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line,” the source said. “He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work — which is extremely important to him — and the rigors of the tour every night. It really wore him out.”

In October, West reportedly suffered a “massive meltdown” and fired his entire staff following his highly-criticized Yeezy Season 4 fashion show, which was described by some critics as “hell on earth” and a “shameful and horrible” display of “cruelty” toward the models.

After his wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, was robbed of more than $10 million in jewelry at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room, West rescheduled dates for his now-cancelled Saint Pablo tour.
