New York Times Plagiarizes Anti-Adelson Language From Obama Campaign

There has been evidence for some time that the New York Times was the leading mouthpiece for Barack Obama, publishing pieces that backed him every chance they got. It turns out that not only are they his mouthpiece, they don’t even hide the fact by editing his words; they simply repeat whatever he says.

Earlier this week, the Obama campaign released a scurrilous email regarding Paul Ryan’s visit to Sheldon Adelson. Their thinly veiled anti-Semitism read like this:

“Today, just 72 hours after joining the GOP ticket, Paul Ryan is making a pilgrimage to the Sands’ Venetian casino in Las Vegas to kiss the ring of Sheldon Adelson, the billionaire casino magnate who’s already donated more than $35 million to Republican groups in this election.”

It was pointed out that this language was offensive. But today, in a contumelious attack on Mitt Romney, the New York Times used the exact same words:

“Three days after Paul Ryan became the presumptive Republican vice presidential candidate, he made a pilgrimage on Tuesday to the Las Vegas gambling palace of Sheldon Adelson …”

All the veils of the Leftist media have been pulled back now. They do not even pretend that they represent objectivity; they shamelessly parrot the very words of their Chosen One, insolently and contemptuously assuming that no one will notice.

There is another gigantic hypocrisy demonstrated here; the Times feels free to repeat the anti-Semitism instigated by the White House, but the Left denies any such allegation. Remember how the Left responded when Glenn Beck denounced George Soros? Here’s an example:

“If you know this history, you’ll understand why Glenn Beck’s two-part “exposé” on George Soros, whom Beck calls “The Puppet Master,” was so shocking, even by Beck’s degraded standards. The program, which aired Tuesday and Wednesday, was a symphony of anti-Semitic dog-whistles. Nothing like it has ever been on American television before.”

But of course, Beck is outside the New York Times/Washington Post/Obama White House axis, so his words are worthy of condemnation.

Where does the New York Times get off? When ‪Rush Limbaugh inveighed against Sandra Fluke, Obama called her and pompously said it was inappropriate for Rush to bash a private figure. Now the Times is bashing Adelson, who is also a private figure. Is there a snowball’s chance in hell that Obama will call him?

Adelson would the first to say, don’t bet on it.
