Tuesday on Bloomberg TV, the campaign manager for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign David Plouffe weighed in on Hillary Clinton book tour to date, which critics have said has left much to be desired. According to Plouffe, Clinton is in a “leaning period” as a candidate, despite having been his main competitor in 2008 when he ran Obama’s campaign, which was in reference to her missteps last week at the launch of her book “Hard Choices.”
Plouffe said Hillary was simply in “spring training” when discussing her comment last week to ABC’s Diane Sawyer claiming that she and her husband were “dead broke” when they left the White House.
