Former Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann has called for a complete shutdown on mass immigration into the U.S. and harshly criticized the jihad-linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) for complaining that the sexual assault of a five-year-old Idaho girl at the hands of Muslim males has become a “lightning rod for anti-Muslim and anti-refugee sentiments.”

In a Thursday Facebook post, CAIR issued a statement on the child sex assault:

Anti-Muslim agitators and those opposed to resettlement of refugees from the Syrian civil war nevertheless seized on the incident to buttress their arguments for shutting down a refugee center in Twin Falls to prevent entry by displaced Syrians…

Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, said the Idaho sexual assault should be fully investigated but added the case had become a lightning rod for anti-Muslim, and anti-refugee sentiments.

“These two forms of hostility seem to be overlapping and reinforcing each other,” he said.

Bachmann counters that CAIR works hard to redirect attention from horrific crimes committed by Muslims to Islamic-friendly propaganda.

“CAIR is a known Muslim Brotherhood front group, as was stated in U.S. federal district court documents in the 2008 Holy Land foundation case,” Bachmann said in a statement to Breitbart News. “I introduced a bill when I was in the U.S. congress to designate The Muslim Brotherhood a foreign terrorist organization.”

“Already, the UAE and the U.K. have made this important designation. The U.S. should go on offense and do likewise to protect our crumbling national security. It has been suggested that CAIR’s insidious purpose is to deceive the American public and to spout propaganda to deflect attention away from Muslim-initiated problems in the U.S.”

Bachmann is calling for a total moratorium on all migration into the U.S. after the cruel attack.

“The violent sexual attack on an innocent 5-year-old Idaho special-needs girl by Muslim male ‘refugees’ is a story that should be repeated, highlighted and used as the basis for pausing ANY further immigration to the U.S. The sordid details of the brutal attack as reported, stated the males stripped the girl naked, raped her and urinated in her mouth while filming the attack. The 5-year-old victim begged an 89-year-old woman for help who inadvertently disrupted this evil crime,” she said. “Thank God an adult happened by and stopped this unthinkable cruelty against an innocent child.”

“Taking the side of killers and rapists tells the public a lot about who CAIR is. If we listen to the terrorists’ own words, (when the DOJ doesn’t alter them for public consumption or redact them), we hear the jihadists go to great lengths to tell the world that Islam is their motivation for murder.”

“To protect other Americans from rape, murder, sexual assaults, theft, fraud and mayhem, we must push the pause button on ALL U.S. immigration, whether legal, illegal or through the much misused ‘refugee’ program run by the corrupt U.N.,” she said. “American leaders need to start thinking more about the best interests of 5-year-old Idaho girls and less about getting foreign Muslim males into America at our expense.”

The Sudanese and Iraqi refugees who sexually assaulted a five-year-old Idaho girl have been released from the Snake River Juvenile Detention Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, and returned to their families before the next hearing, according to a new report. They’ve reportedly been ordered to have no contact with their victim. The case against them has been sealed.

Eyewitnesses to the 10-year-old and 14-year-old Sudanese boys’ release told World Net Daily that the migrant families were seen smiling and hugging the boys after Thursday hearing. The 14-year-old allegedly filmed the sex assault while coaching the two younger boys to urinate on the girl after stripping her naked and assaulting her. The families have been evicted from the Fawnbrook Apartments where they attacked the child.

The shocking assault has outraged community members, who stormed city council meetings to demand answers even as elected officials condescended to them. Much of the media focus has been centered on scolding alarmed residents who mistakenly believed that the attackers were Syrian refugees instead of investigating how the terrible crime occurred in the first place, and why it’s in the continued interest of the U.S. to voluntarily import Third World Muslims into American communities at all.

Bachmann currently serves on presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s evangelical advisory council.
