Scarborough on Mueller Investigation: ‘Would Be So Much Easier If These Republicans Just Wouldn’t Lie’

During Wednesday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, host Joe Scarborough commented on former FBI special counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony before Congress ahead of it starting.

Scarborough listed off names associated with President Donald Trump that have been arrested or indicted, saying the Mueller investigation would have been “so much easier” if the Republicans were not lying for the “most corrupt administration since the Nixon administration.”

“Ten instances of obstruction of justice, possibly, by President Trump and again, Paul Manafort, his campaign chairman, guilty; Michael Flynn, his national security adviser, guilty; Michael Cohen, his fixer, his lawyer forever, guilty; Rick Gates, Trump campaign aide, guilty; George Papadopoulos, foreign policy adviser, guilty; Roger Stone, long time political adviser, indicted,” Scarborough outlined. “And Mika, it would be so much easier if these Republicans just wouldn’t lie, and then … I wouldn’t have had to say all of that, and humiliate them further that they are basically running cover for the most corrupt administration since the Nixon administration. But if they lie, we have to clarify.”
