Elon Musk tweeted Monday that he is working with the investment bank Goldman Sachs and the tech-focused private equity firm Silver Lake on taking Tesla private.
Musk said Silver Lake and Goldman are acting as “financial advisors.” He also mentioned that is working with the law firms Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Munger, Tolles & Olson as legal advisors.

Reuters reported that Silver Lake had offered to work with Musk without compensation, and had not been hired as a financial adviser in an official capacity.
