TEL AVIV – Dramatic security footage was released on Saturday showing a Palestinian terrorist violently stabbing an Israel Defense Force soldier and a civilian in Hebron in the West Bank on Wednesday.
In the video, the soldier is seen asking the Palestinian, identified as Abd al-Rahman Maswada, for identification. While the soldier inspects Maswada’s documents, the terrorist, wearing a yellow vest, pulls out a knife and repeatedly stabs the soldier and only stops after he is shot dead by other soldiers at the scene.
A civilian who attempted to assist the besieged soldier was also wounded in the attack. The civilian was later identified as Yitzhak Struck, the son of former Knesset Member Orit Struck.
