WHO: Ebola Cases Number in West Africa Climb to 1,975

Geneva, August 13 (QNA) – The number of reported Ebola cases in West Africa has climbed to 1,975, the World Health Organization WHO said Wednesday.

Among these patients, 1,069 have died in the four affected countries – Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.

The updated tally includes 128 new cases and 56 deaths that were reported on Sunday and Monday, most of them from Liberia and Sierra Leone, the WHO said.(QNA)
