Amid a relentless Democrat-sponsored campaign for increasing gun control, guns and related accessories are topping Christmas lists around the country.

Breitbart News previously reported that November was the seventh consecutive month of record background checks in America, and gun stores indicate December is on track to break more records.

According to The Guardian, “Gun shop owners across the US have reported a marked increase in interest in their products over the holidays.” Store owners say “most” people are shopping for guns to give as gifts.

This is the case at ABQ Guns in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Fort Chaffee Outfitters in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and at Freedom Firearms in Kingsport, Tennessee. And this surge in giving guns for gifts comes on top of a gun market with sales that were already skyrocketing via the post-San Bernardino rush for self-defense handguns and AR-15 rifles.

On December 9, Breitbart News reported that guns were flying off the shelves in stores from Redland, California, to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and from Lynchburg, Virginia, to League City, Texas.

Reports indicate that the Christmas rush is not simply for guns, but for “gun accessories,” as well. They point to The Well Armed Woman in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is doing a “brisk business selling accessories like holsters, concealed carry purses and bullet jewelry targeting female gun owners.”

Black Friday 2015 ushered in Christmas gun purchases with a record-breaking number of background checks in one day. According to The Trace, FBI spokesman Stephen Fischer said, “Black Friday [2015] shattered the single-day record with 185,345 background checks processed in a 24-hour period — or slightly more than two background-checks every second.”
