A driver allegedly spray-painted an image of a penis on the side of another motorist’s truck after he got into a dispute with the motorist in the Lincoln Tunnel bordering New York and New Jersey.

The New York Daily News reports that the confrontation between the two drivers began on the New Jersey side of the tunnel around 9:30 a.m. when the motorists nearly crashed into each other.

The two drivers got into an argument as both vehicles traveled through the tunnel.

They stopped at a traffic light on the New York side of the tunnel in Manhattan, and Felix Zeydelis, 34, allegedly got out of his Toyota Camry to spray-paint a penis on the other driver’s box truck, Port Authority Police told WPIX.

Police say Zeydelis also allegedly attempted to spray-paint the victim, but the victim reportedly blocked the paint stream with his hand.

The box truck driver allegedly jumped out of his vehicle to take a swing at Zeydelis before Port Authority Police intervened to stop the fight.

A Port Authority spokesperson told WPIX that an officer arrested Zeydelis and charged him with assault and criminal mischief.

The victim of the attack refused medical attention at the scene and has not been identified.

It is unclear what started the argument leading up to the spray-paint incident.

Other people accused of vandalizing vehicles with phallic symbols have suffered a much worse fate than being arrested.

In February, police in Oakland, California, shot a man accused of spray painting a penis on a vehicle and firing a gun at officers and residents in the area. The suspect later died of his injuries at a local hospital.
