President Donald Trump is in “excellent health” following his medical examination on Friday, his presidential physician has confirmed.

Trump’s physical exam took place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center by  Dr. Ronny Jackson, who has served as White House doctor since 2013 and carried out two of President Barack Obama’s medical exams.

“The President’s physical exam today at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went exceptionally well,” Jackson said in a short statement on Friday. “The President is in excellent health and I look forward to briefing some of the details on Tuesday.”

Trump critics have recently raised questions about his mental stability, with some even suggesting he might be suffering from dementia. However, Trump has dismissed the allegations as an attempt to undermine his authority.

“I went from a VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star, to President of the United States (on my first try),” Trump wrote on Twitter. “I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!”

Trump has also previously claimed his good health is one of his greatest assets” and described himself as “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
