Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to fundraise in the San Diego area on Wednesday afternoon. The same evening, Vice President Joe Biden will promote President Barack Obama in Barrio Logan, give an ESPY award in Los Angeles and head for Hawaii.

Hawaii’s governor David Ige declared a state of emergency for mosquito-borne illnesses on Sunday, including Zika and dengue fever. The latter has been an especially urgent concern, with over 250 confirmed cases of dengue reported during the current outbreak.

While Obama was on the course, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest released a statement in response to the attacks. “We express our deepest condolences to the families of the six U.S. service members killed and to all of those injured in today’s Taliban attack near Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and their loved ones,” the statement read, adding that the United States condemned the “cowardly attack.”

Obama to Visit San Bernardino Victims en Route to Hawaii

Five days after Breitbart News reported that President Barack Obama had not scheduled plans to attend or send representatives to any of the funerals of the 14 San Bernardino attack victims, the White House announced that the President has added a Friday stop on his way to Hawaiian holiday to visit–sans media–with some of the grieving families.

Barack and Michelle Obama Send Christmas Greetings

Americans received a special Christmas present from the White House: a two-for-one package. Barack Obama’s weekly message also featured a message from his wife and even took the time to mention Jesus, despite the fact that the Obamas have traditionally eschewed going to church on Christmas.
