Obama To Catholic Health Association: ‘Every Human Being, Made in the Image of God, Deserves to Live in Dignity’

Obama’s words may appear as a purposeful twist to appeal to leftwing “social justice” Catholics while at the same time not admitting that unborn babies are, in fact, “human beings.” Like many liberals, Obama also uses the words of Pope Francis to shore up support for his policies he views as advocating for equality and fairness, while ignoring the Church’s unchanging doctrine in areas such as the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, and marriage between one man and one woman.

Medicare Hits 50 Years Old and Is Broke as a Joke

On July 30, 1965, President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law and enrolled former President Harry Truman as its first beneficiary. But today, federal unfunded liabilities are catastrophic for future taxpayers and economic growth. The US Debt Clock lists federal unfunded liabilities at $97 trillion. That equals about $818 thousand per taxpayer; about three times average U.S. net worth; and 131 percent of world GDP.

ObamaCare: Health Insurance Gets Worse, But You’re Not Allowed to Complain About It Any More

That’s right, ObamaCare victims: those massive premiums you’re struggling to pay, while simultaneously forking over fat tax payments to subsidize the premiums of your neighbors, are much lower than they really should be, because vampire government is also sucking tax money out of you to pay the insurance companies off. The whole scheme falls apart right about the time Barack Obama leaves office, confident that a huge and surly army of insurance welfare dependents, backed up by heavy political and lobbyist artillery from rent-seeking insurance companies, will make his boondoggle indestructible, no matter how unpopular it gets.

White House: Proposed Health Insurance Rate Hikes Is Proof Obamacare Is Working

“Our goal of this has been to slow the growth in health care costs, and that has been our mantra,” Press Secretary Josh Earnest said after insurance companies proposed massive increases in insurance rates. “And we have seen, as our economists can demonstrate to you, that since the health care law went into effect — since the Affordable Care Act went into effect health care costs in this country have grown at the slowest rate in recorded history, the slowest rate in 50 years.”

Obama: I Hope The World Remembers Me ‘Fondly’

NY Times Article on Genesis of Obamacare Subsidies Omits Key Detail

A NY Times story published Monday focuses on the genesis of “four words” in the Affordable Care Act which are at the center of the Supreme Court case King v. Burwell. However, the story leaves out important details which undercut the claim that drafters of the bill never considered withholding subsidies from the states.

Obamacare Insurance Premiums to Jump, up to 51%

Major insurers in some states are proposing up to 51 percent premium increases for health plans sold under the Affordable Healthcare and Patient Protection Act, commonly referred to as Obamacare. Despite single digit increases for 2015, insurance companies are seeing their costs jump and are demanding to be compensated with dramatically higher rates.

Circuit Courts Strike Blows Against Religious Liberty

This week, various appeals courts across the country ruled on whether religious institutions should be exempted from the Obamacare contraception mandate. The court decisions make it all but inevitable that the Supreme Court will be forced in the next few months to consider whether religious institutions must cover contraception in violation of their religious freedom.

AZ POLL: Sen. McCain Under 50 Percent, Extraordinarily Vulnerable

Five-term incumbent Sen. John McCain may have reason to fear a primary challenge. Newly released data from liberal-leaning Public Policy Polling shows half of Arizona’s Republican primary voters disapprove of McCain’s job performance, and more than half would prefer a more conservative Senate candidate in 2016.

CA Democrat Legislators Reject Being Enrolled In Obamacare

On Wednesday in the California State Assembly Rules Committee, Democrats defeated a bill that would have dropped state legislators from their taxpayer-funded premium healthcare plans and prodded them into Covered California, the state Obamacare exchange. The bill, authored by Assemblyman Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita), was defeated on a party-line vote–even though it would have reimbursed them for the cost of their new California Health Benefit Exchange plans.

Now that Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) have officially launched their presidential campaigns, the Democratic Party is gearing up its propaganda machine to attack the Republican contenders. Despite Obamacare, Californians Using ERs More for Non-Emergencies

According to the Los Angeles Times, Californians have actually increased their use of emergency rooms for diagnosis of medical problems rather than using ERs for actual emergencies. That problematic scenario supposedly drove statewide support for Obamacare; overburdened emergency rooms were being used en masse by those without health insurance, thanks to provisions under California law that mandate coverage via emergency room without regard to insurance.
