The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) has developed a significant volume of propaganda as they extend their caliphate through Iraq and Syria, based both on their military prowess and attempts to depict their civilians as living the good life. A tourism brochure advertising the alleged high quality of life in Mosul, Iraq is their latest effort to entice the world to join them.

Feds Indict Six In St. Louis On Charges Of Sending Money to ISIS and Al-Qaeda

ISIS Suspect of NYC Plot Was Arrested in Jacksonville

More details have emerged about Wednesday’s news of three Uzbekistani men arrested in New York City for allegedly plotting to join ISIS and possibly carry out terror attacks in New York: one of the men, 19-year-old Akhror Saidakhmetov, turned out to have dual citizenship in Kazakhstan, not Uzbekistan, and the senior member of the group, 30-year-old Abror Habibov, was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida, not at his residence in Brooklyn.

Kurds Plan Thousand-Strong ‘Tent City’ to House Returning Refugees in Kobani

Officials in Kobani, the predominantly Kurdish city in northern Syria, have been forced to construct hundreds of tents for residents whose homes have been completely destroyed in the ongoing civil war in Syria, Firat News reports.
