Military Sources: Obama Admin Not Pursuing Benghazi Suspects

Fox News is quoting U.S. military sources who claim “the Obama administration knows who is responsible [for Benghazi] but is not acting.”

According to these sources, the administration has “let it slip by because of politics, and now we’ve taken all the correlation we had and dropped the ball because of risk (aversion)–and now the security in Libya is more fragile than ever.”

A member of the U.S. Special Forces, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they’ve been tracking the men behind the Benghazi attacks since October. He claims, as time drags on, they have “lost the trail on some of them” while waiting for someone to give the order to apprehend or kill the men.

Other military sources claim the Obama administration has known where “some of the perpetrators are, based on information given to the Pentagon back in January, but no action has been taken to capture or kill them.”

Far from pursuing those responsible, they say Libya has “become a safe haven for Al Qaeda” and a place where “terrorists are being indoctrinated and trained.”

Nevertheless, White House spokesman Jay Carney contended, “From the beginning, the president has committed all the resources of this administration, of this government, to finding who was responsible and bringing them to justice.”
