Police Searching for Two Black Male Suspects in Fatal Hit-and-Run of Three Girls

Santa Ana, California–The Santa Ana Police department informed Breitbart News that they are searching for two African American male suspects for fleeing after driving a Honda CR-V and striking and killing three 13-year-old girls on Friday night.

Breitbart News reported earlier Saturday that the girls were trick-or-treating when a vehicle with two occupants ran over them and continued on until they reached a nearby parking lot, abandoning the vehicle and escaping on foot.

Press information officer Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department told Breitbart News that the suspects were identified as being African American by at least one witness who glimpsed the vehicle after it struck the victims. Santa Ana Police Department Commander Bill Nimmo confirmed that the suspects were African American.

Nimmo added that officials went to the address identified on the Honda CR-V registration; however, they determined that the inhabitants were not the owners of the vehicle.

Officer Bertagna emphasized that the collision occurred in a heavily-trafficked section and that there were many witnesses to the fatal incident.
