MCALLEN, Texas — Federal agents arrested near the Texas border a Mexican murder suspect illegal alien. The man is wanted for murder in Houston.

Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol working near the rural community of Encino encountered a group of illegal aliens at a ranch and arrested them, a news release from the U.S. Border Patrol released to Breitbart Texas revealed. Encino is a ranching community near the Falfurrias Border Patrol Checkpoint in Brooks County.

Once in custody at the Falfurrias station, agents were able to identify one of the men in the group as 24-year-old Emilio Cervantes Gonzalez. According to information provided to Breitbart Texas by Houston Police, Emilio Angel Cervantes Gonzalez is wanted by their investigators for the January 29, 2014 shooting murder of Yasmin Arzola Ortiz outside of a Houston bar.

Investigators learned that the shooting was the result of a fight between Cervantes and another man inside the Mekano Live Club which led to the parking lot shooting where Arzola was shot. After the shooting Houston’s homicide detectives believed that Cervantes fled to Mexico and considered him a fugitive until his recent arrest in South Texas.
