A video made by a black activist asking the president and other leaders to denounce the #BlackLivesMatter movement has gone viral on Facebook. He calls the movement “a racist movement,” one that is “racist to the core.” He says the movement has only caused more disunion and hate among Americans.

The former vice chairman and executive director of the Jefferson County Republican Party challenges others in his video to not respond to the shooting of the deputy by calling for stricter gun laws or for changes in mental health approaches. He asks every leader, “starting with the president,” to “denounce the Black Lives Matter movement.”

As reported by Breitbart Texas, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth was shot execution-style at a gas station on Friday night. The officer was in uniform and was putting gas in his patrol car at a Chevron station in northwest Houston at the time. Witnesses told Breitbart Texas that the shooter shot the deputy in the back of the head and in the back.

Joe Evans, Jr. says in his video:

So I was working out just now, and unfortunately my work out was cut short when I saw that another officer was assassinated last night.  Many people will blame it on us not taking a serious approach to mental health, or we need stricter gun laws, but I think we should start by denouncing the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

He continued, “I challenge every leader, starting with the president, down to myself, to denounce the black lives matter movement. It’s a racist movement, racist to the core, and it has only caused more disunion and more hate among Americans.”

He condemned the shooting of the officer saying, “What happened last night was a senseless act of violence and anytime you openly have a group of people making it their point to say that their lives are better then another group of people’s lives, you set yourself up for this type of stuff.”

He urged everyone, including the leaders in this country and community to “Denounce the black lives matter movement, replace it with all lives matter, so we can understand that everyone’s life is precious.”

Evans concludes, “We’ve managed to devalue life for some reason lately and these organizers win because of it, let’s stand united. Denounce that movement.”

As reported by Breitbart Texas, the escalation of anti-white and anti-cop rhetoric has been building since militant black activists began marching in support of #BlackLivesMatter after the suicide of Sandra Bland in Texas. At protests at the Waller County jail where Bland killed herself, a radical activist called for all white people to be killed, and heavily armed members of the New Black Panther Party chanted “the revolution has started … off the pigs.” A Texas-based internet radio show called for the lynching of whites and the killing of police officers. Last week, two white journalists and a white deputy sheriff have been assassinated by blacks who appear to be carrying out the message of hate.

“This rhetoric has gotten out of control,” Sheriff Ron Hickman said during a press conference attended by two Breitbart Texas journalists this past weekend.

“We’ve heard ‘black lives matter,’ ‘all lives matter,’ well cops’ lives matter too,” said the leader of the third largest sheriff’s office in the country.

The visibly emotional Hickman continued, “Why don’t we just drop the qualifier and say ‘lives matter.’ Take that to the bank.”

“At this point,” referring to the executed deputy, the sheriff said, “he was only targeted because he was wearing a uniform.”
