Former GE Ceo Jack Welch argued Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is “speaking the truth” on Wednesday’s episode of the Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”
Welch said, “the thing I like about Ted Cruz clearly is, he says what he’s going to do, and he does it. I’ve written a book, as you know and i always talk about truth and trust. dammit, you say it and then you do it.” And “well, look, Ted Cruz is speaking the truth. He’s out there saying what it’s like. We’re all tired of these backroom deals, these — Harry Reid, we won the election — Republicans we — we won the election in ’10 and ’14. Harry Reid might as well have stayed there from ’14 to ’16 running the Senate. We didn’t get beans. And we need leadership.”
Welch added in reference to Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), “I think he’s too slick by a half. I don’t know how deep he is.”
