In an appearance on Sean Hannity’s radio show on Wednesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated that senior Israeli officials, he had spoken with, which included Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu unanimously believed that “the current deal being negotiated by the Obama administration is a tragic and historic mistake.”
Cruz added that he believes Obama’s views on the Middle East are “naïve and feckless,” and expressed agreement with Netanyahu that the current deal the US is negotiating with Iran over its nuclear weapons capability is a “very very bad deal,” and compared the Obama administration’s Iran policy to the “failed” policy the Clinton administration negotiated with North Korea in the 1990s.
