On Monday’s broadcast of “CNN Tonight,” anchor Don Lemon, reporting live from Ferguson, MO, aired a clip of what is purported audio of the shooting of Michael Brown earlier this month.
The audio is allegedly an accidental recording of the incident, one of which Lemon offered with a disclaimer.
“[C]NN cannot independently verify authenticity of the tape and has reached out to the FBI for the confirmation with the Ferguson resident who said he made the recording,” Lemon said.
