Friday on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” former Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT) attacked Republicans concerned about President Barack Obama’s handling of the ISIS threat to America by saying they are simply using ISIS to attack the president before the midterm elections.
When host Ed Schultz asked, “What do you think the debate and conversation in Congress will look like when they come back and start talking about ISIS?”
Dean replied, “I think John Boehner wants to go out and play golf as soon as he can. I don’t think they are going to have serious conversation whatsoever. You see the partisan attacks from the Republicans, they don’t care about the substance. All they care about is blaming the president right before the election.”
